Purchasing this item secures one person a place on the February 25th Gin Tasting and 3 Course Dinner event in collaboration with Saddlery Cafe. 

Our distillery occupies an old victorian stable building, later a saddlery, in a historic farm croft, hidden away up Woodcock Hill between Welwyn Garden City and St Albans. We’re lucky enough to share a yard with other like minded businesses. It’s truly magical – nothing is visible from the road, but as soon as you pull into the car park and turn the corner into the central farmyard you’re greeted by a thriving community of retailers and providers of luxury and boutique goods and services. One of these, the Saddlery Cafe, has agreed to co-host a gin tasting and dining event with Spirit of Hertfordshire to celebrate our cool little shopping neighbourhood. Here’s the plan: `

On February 25th, a Saturday, You’ll arrive at our distillery at 6 PM and be served your choice of one of our Classic London Dry Gins, in either a G&T or Martini form.

As you enjoy your first drink, we’ll give you tour of the distillery, tell you about the history and origins of different types of gin, and offer tasters of all the different styles and recipes we mention along the way.

At the end of this journey through the world of gin, you’ll choose your final drink: another full sized G&T or Martini, made with a hearty measure of whichever gin most intrigued or enchanted you during the tasting, to take with you to your 7 o’clock table at the Saddlery Cafe, where you’ll be served three courses of their fresh, delicious and honestly-prepared food, all included (along with the softly candlelit ambience and live acoustic music) in the ticket price.

And at the end of the meal you’ll have the option to buy full bottles of your favourite gins of the session with an exclusive event discount.
