A festive hedgerow liqueur made by steeping wild foraged Hertfordshire sloes in limited edition festive Spirit of Hertfordshire gin, then adding a dash of sugar. The sloe, fruit of the blackthorn tree, is sour in its natural state, but comes alive as part of this sweet concoction. We use sloes of all vintages - some picked fresh this season for zesty berry juiciness, and some steeped for up to 10 years to extract deeper woody spices and notes of almond and vanilla. This rich purple gin liqueur is an undisputed Hedgerow Classic and festive essential.
